Who We Are

Our Story

OptOps was founded by Corey Lehmann, assembling a team to combine deep expertise in scientific research and software development to build the next generation of AI-powered tools for scientific facility operations.

Through our years of hands-on experience working with diagnostics and industrial data systems, we've observed significant gaps in how facilities access, interpret, and act on their operational data. Too often, valuable information is locked away in siloed systems, buried in legacy interfaces, or simply too complex for operators to extract in real-time.

We founded OptOps to fill these gaps. Our focus is on maximising the accessibility of facility data, but in a way that remains transparent and modular. We believe operators should understand exactly how their tools work, and be able to adopt them incrementally without disrupting existing workflows.

Most importantly, we believe there is far more valuable information hidden within operational data than traditional methods can extract. Modern machine learning and AI tools have the potential to transform how facilities interpret diagnostic information, enabling earlier anomaly detection, faster root cause analysis, and smarter decision-making. We're building OptOps to unlock that potential and deliver a step-change improvement in facility operations.
